AC Assets Control has access to a huge array of data resources, which no accounting firm among the big four can offer in the same scope and depth.
Our data universe encompasses the largest databases worldwide, with almost one billlion beneficiaries listed, 400 million company data, half a million news sites and a multitude of other resources. Our focus is not just international, but also local: we extend our research to specifically regional (financial) databases and local media.
We actively maintain our Know-How regarding specific requests targeting government registers in on- and off-shore jurisdictions. Most requests can be handled electronically, but we have the capabilities to deal with requests on-site. We also employ cartographic tools and resources, as well as geodata; we make use of services delivering logistics, flight and freight information together with property registers, cadastral maps, but also current and historical satellite imagery and further resources.
Our OSINT toolbox is complemented by our own proprietary database, which we fill with new data and constantly optimize. To this we add our unique portfolio of information sourced from recently published ransomware leaks from the dark web, our own web-captures of sites in the deep web, as well as an extensive collection of past cases and criminal incidents.
The OSINT specialists at AC Asset Controls have at their disposal international resources such as regulatory alerts, court databases, share data and patent information.

With our forensic software tools such as Nuix Investigate or i2, which are also used by leading law enforcement agencies, we can analyze unstructured data and make complex connections visible. We use graphic analysis programs to illustrate relationships, geolocations and other links.

Ethics make a difference. Unethical companies who seek out reputable consultants in order to cover up their own serious criminal activity, protect dictators, and engage in unethical deals for lucrative mandates – we’ve seen it all. Our team will not accept such customers. And our clientele does not want to share their consultants with such companies either.

As a highly specialized OSINT provider and investigative company, we have undoubtedly fewer conflicts of interest than a large, integrated accounting firm.
AC Assets Control is resolute in its commitment not to offer consulting services in the field of asset management or financial portfolio management.
Although we have distinguished former journalists in our team, we do not wish to perform PR or communications advisory work and refuse such mandates.
AC Assets Control has in-depth and proven skills in forensic accounting, yet we do not take on auditing or accountancy work at the corporate level.
Should conflicts of interest arise in spite of our best efforts, AC Assets Control will proactively and transparently inform the affected parties. We refer to our code of conduct and our stated ethical principles.

The AC Assets Control servers are operated exclusively in Switzerland under the strictest security requirements. Client data are exchanged either via physical data carriers with state-of-the-art encryption, or via a secure data room, which is also used and endorsed by leading international corporations and their boards of directors.
